Special Care Planning

Our mission is to help educate families and caregivers of people with special needs about the importance and steps in creating a life care plan to help provide a secure financial future.

SpecialCare is a program developed by Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual®) that provides access to information and resources to families with dependents, of any age, who have a disability. Through a dedicated network of Special Care Planners, we can help provide access to information, specialists, and financial solutions that can help families:

• Access local organizations and advocacy groups

• Protect future eligibility for government benefits

• Create a Life Care Plan

• Understand the financial and legal issues in special needs planning

• Determine funding options for special needs trusts

• Determine how much money is needed to provide for lifetime quality care

As a SpecialCare Planner, I can with you and your professional advisors — your banker, accountant, or financial professional, your lawyer, social workers, and health care providers  to:

• review your financial picture

• offer options that make sense for your situation

• help ensure that steps you take won’t unintentionally jeopardize eligibility for government benefits

• and help you maintain the lifestyle your loved one needs.
